STEP Empty Bowls event is Thursday, March 7th.
The event will take place on two floors of the St. Louis Park Rec Center. 3700 Monterey Drive. Lunch is served from 11:00am – 1:30pm. Dinner is served from 4:00pm – 7:00pm.
Renee from Vision Loss Resources: Renee presented us with information on how the Ipod, Iphone and IPads help sight impaired and the blind. Lions Intl. President Madden would like us to do one Reading project activity per quarter. I believe this would fit into the Lions reading project category for raising awareness of need in our community for technology that can help vision impaired people to read, and stay connected. 95th Anniversary Luncheon: Wed, April 17th. It will be at the same time as our normal meetings at the Golden Valley Country Club. We should start talking to past presidents and past members. DG Dave Reach will be invited to speak.
